TTI Introduces Innovative Flavor Substitute

TTI Press Release

April, 2007

Traditionally, Virginia Style cigarettes do not utilize a separate burley toasting line. Therefore, the total leaf blend is cased simultaneously. This style of processing is utilized in the industry for both Virginia Style and American Blended style products. When using this process to manufacture an American Blended product the use of specific flavoring components must be incorporated in the Total Leaf Casing to compensate for the omission of toasted burley tobacco.
